Cute Card Thusday #154 - Signs of Spring

Our challenge at Cute Card Thursday this week is Signs of Spring.


Paper: K&Co
Accessories: Flowers, Pearls, Stickles, MS Butterfly Punch, MS Rose Leaf Punch, MS Branch Punch,  Butterfly Embosslits (SU!), Copics Airbrush System


 I colored Tilda with Distress Inks.I did a log of blending with Bundled Sage and Tumbled Glass to achieve the look I wanted.


I used my  Copics Airbrush System  to add a variety of color to my roses.


I used the Butterfly Embosslits for the layered butterfly.


For this week's card, I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday...

    Absolutely wonderful. I love the colors of the papers, and what you used on Tilda. I've never heard of Butterfly Embosslits but will have to look them up. Gorgeous card. Love her earrings.

    Okay Julie - you are killing me here! This card is so wonderful - where in the world do you ever come up with your beautiful papers - you certainly have an eye for them. The colors are out of this world - Your Miss Tilda is gorgeous!!! Love the colors of the flowers and the butterfly. At first when I saw this sketch I thought too busy but you have made it dance! Wonderful!

    OMG, Julie! What a delight for the eyes! Love your unique style of coloring, it takes me to some Renoir, Degas oil paintings:) Tilda looks amazing and seems to me as if a storm is drawing near with the gorgeous "savage" background you've created. I just love your card!

    Julie, ooh what a colourful card. All those colours teasing me with signs of spring. I love it! Loving the way you colour with distress ink. It looks like watercolour to me. And especially with those gorgeous gorgeous DP's. You did such a beautiful job in putting this card together.

    I haven't been blog browsing in a while and I feel like I'm falling way behind in the " stamp purchasing" department! Lol I love your recent cards and the images are so so cute. I have a question.... I see that you used stay onz ink with distress inks and Copics. What paper do you use to satisfy both mediums? Doesn't stay onz smear with Copics? Okay thats two questions lol any who I just love your cards! Beautifully done.
