Sketch Saturday #87 - Dancing Tilda

I made this card for the Sketch Saturday Challenge #87. I just love this sketch...

...and here is my card...

Stamp: Charleston Tilda (Magnolia), Many Happy Returns (Stampin' Up!)
Paper: Tracy Porter (Colorbok), DCWV Textured Cardstock
Ink: Staz-On, Distress Ink
Embellishments: Butterfly Punches (Marvy), Bazzill Ribbon, beads, Martha Stewart Border Punch, Fiskars Corner Punch (little flowers), Organza Ribbon, silk rose, Stickles

I colored Tilda with Distress Inks. For the skin, I used Tattered Rose and Tea Dye (shadows). For her dress, I blended colors (I think it was Worn Lipstick and Tattered Rose). For her hair, I used Scattered Straw, a little Mustard Seed and a little watered down Walnut.

The butterfly is two punches by Marvy. I embellished with some beads I had on hand for a little extra bling.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  20. Oh WOW Julie, This card is gorgeous. I wish I can learn how to make that effect around Tilda. It's beautiful. Do you use re-inkers from Tim Holtz to do the shadows?
    Stunning card!
