Cute Card Thursday #135 - A Sketch

Happy Thursday!

The challenge at Cute Card Thursday this week is a sketch by Lynn Anderson. Here is Lynn's sketch...

...and here is my card..

Paper: A Country Christmas (The Paper Studio)
Accessories: Felt Snowflakes (SU!), flat-back bobbles, striped ribbon (SU!), seed grass, star button, Rock Candy Crackle Paint

This adorable Santa Edwin is available for preorder over at 7 Kids College Fund. I distressed the image with distress inks and crackle paint.

I had a plain, tan star button. I wanted to give it the same distressed look as the picture, so I used some crackle paint and walnut ink. I then added a "weathered" stamp to give it a little more character.

The sponsor this week for Cute Card Thursday is Kraftin' With Kimmie Stamps. I hope you will join us for your chance to win two rubber stamps of your choice.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
