I colored this image with distress inks during the summer while we were camping. I finally have the opportunity to use it here.


I wanted to make my own grunge flower (for the Make Your Own Embellishment challenge at Magnolia Down Under. I used Tattered Florals Tim Holtz Alterations Die with card stock and Mod Podge (in place of grunge paper). I pulled it all together with a rhinestone brad.



This week, I used the sketch for Friday Sketchers.

    Wow, wow, wow! Another stunner. So loving your colouring and that fabulous background. All your detailed elements bring this card together so well and the vintage feel is perfect.     Just had to bop in because I saw in the 7 Kids Challenge post that you said you were in CO Rockies...I'm at the base of them too...just 650+ miles NE of you :o) However, I grew up in Dgo! It's been a few years since I've been home, but I miss it. Durango is such a wonderful place! Too funny...small world and all! Happy crafting!
