7 Kids College Fund Challenge - Nontraditional Christmas Colors

Happy Wednesday!

This week at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge , our challenge is to use Non-Traditional Christmas Colors. For my nontraditional colors, I opted for purple and pink.




You can find the following items at 7 Kids College Fund...



 The challenge at Make It Colourful challenged us to color to show light from a lantern or candlelight.


 I used the Holiday Lamppost from the Tim Holtz Collection and used glitter for the light.


I cut grunge paper with the Festive Greenery and the flower from Tattered Florals, both from Tim Holtz. I added some distress paint and distress inks for color and worked with the paper until I had the curls and score lines I wanted.

    Julie this is just stunning. I adore how you colour your images in. Such a talent.

    Oh and would you consider doing a tutorial to show how you achieve that gorgeous affect with the inks as I've just bought some and can't seem to work out how best to use them. xxx

    Julie, this is gorgeous! I'm in awe of your amazing colouring. I'd like to learn to colour with distress inks. And all of your elements, wow! Great card!
