Cute Card Thursday - Wedding Theme

Happy Thursday!

Our challenge this week at Cute Card Thursday is Wedding Theme. Since I don't know anyone getting married in the near future, I opted for a scrapbook page.

Paper: Mirabella (Paper Studio)
Accessories: Brads (SU!), Prima Flowers, lace

My niece's coworker made a comment about the fact that the bride and groom had no mouth and suggested perhaps not speaking would be a good thing for her. My niece thought that was hilarious. You gotta know my niece.

I am entering this page in the following challenges...

Magnolia Down Under - Inspired by a Song (Here Comes the Bride).

7 Kids College Fund - School Spirit

Happy Wednesday!

Our challenge this week at 7 Kids College Fund is School Spirit. We are celebrating the start of school that is either here or coming soon, depending on where you live.

I had a tough time with this challenge. My daughter will be attending high school, and the school mascot is demons. I am not big on demons, so did not really want to use this symbolism to celebrate the start of school. Then after some thought, I realized my daughter's middle school mascot was angels. With Magnolia stamps, this would be perfect. So I opted to make a scrapbook page with the theme of angels, using her 8th grade school picture.

You can find the following items at 7 Kids College Fund...

I think  Flying Angel Tilda, would be the perfect school mascot. Okay, perhaps not terribly intimidating for the football team, but I prefer Tilda to demons.

I made multiple copies of the school logo, printed them, and added them to the page.

Happy first day of school to all you moms and dads out there!

Cute Card Thursday - Clean and Simple

Happy Thursday!

This week at Cute Card Thursday, we are challenging you to make it Clean and Simple. I don't know about you, but this is a real challenge for me cause I really like to go crazy with the flowers and bling. Here is my card...

Stamps: Lying Tilda
Paper: K&Co
Accessories: K&Co dimensional stickers, rhinestones, ribbon, embossing folder

I colored Tilda with Copics (while camping this summer - fun times!)

I used these beautiful stickers from K&Co as a simple embellishment.

I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday and will be entering into that challenge.

7 Kids College Fund Challenge - Anything BUT a Card

Happy Wednesday!

This week at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge, we want to see you make Anything BUT a Card! Here is my project...

Stamps: Cowboy Tilda
Paper: Stampin' Up! (retired)
 Ink: Memento, Copics
Accessories: Chipboard, Cricut, Flower punch, glitter, pearls, Stickles,

Because I wanted to cover my door hanger with Mod Podge, I used Copics to color the image. Copics are permanent and don't run with the Mod Podge, and I love the bright, vibrant colors.

This door hanger is for my office door. I have told my family that when this is on the door, do not disturb. Their response - "Let's see how that works out for you."

The sentiment and lettering were cut out with the Cricut.

I would love to see what non-card projects you create. I hope you will join us at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge!
