So Excited!!!

I am so excited (and still a bit shocked) to announce that I have been chosen for the Make It Crafty Store Design Team. I have been in love with the backgrounds and characters for so long. I have also participated in several of the Make It Colourful challenges. The designers are SO FABULOUS and I am honored to be a part of such a talented group.

This week, I am sitting out of the Cute Card Thursday Challenge in order to participate in a very special celebration. Tiddly Inks is celebrating their 2nd Anniversary. I am so excited to participate in their celebration as a guest designer!

For this card, I used Owlette by Tiddly Inks. The background is from the Paris Collection at Make It Crafty. The paper is Once Upon a Time by DCWV. I printed the image on X-Press It Blending Paper and colored with Copics.

I added a pearl and feathers to her hat to help bring it to life.

I used lots of flowers and berries to create a bouquet that extends down the side of the picture.

My hubby and my father-in-law are avid fishermen. I loved this stamp of Gus Fishing because it reminds me of them.

I changed "beer" to "tea" because this is not a beer group.
