Magnolia Highlites offered up a challenge for their blog hop last week. Their blog hop was for clean and simple cards, and they challenged us to make clean and simple cards. Here are the guidelines...
-less than 3 layers
-uncluttered and lots of white space (so there is only one focal point)
-simple embellishments and simple in design
-can be mass produced easily
So, here is my card...
This is also my installment for my Christmas card this month (since I missed the last couple months).
I hope you have a wonderful, safe weekend.

Sketch Saturday 73
I am still trying to find my mojo, but I got a bit inspired this week, and made this card for Sketch Saturday. First, here is the sketch...

and here is my card...
Stamps: Magnolia Cherry Tilda, Stampin' Up! So Many Sayings
Ink: Memento, Copics
Paper: DCWV, Ruby Red, Baja Breeze and Soft Sky (SU!)
Embellishments: Cherry charms, Cuttlebug embossing folder, fibers from stash.
I finally broke out of my shell and decided to start sewing my cards. Have patience with me. I am not a seamstress. This is truly a stretch for me. The extent of my sewing experience is pretty much sewing ribbon and elastic onto ballet shoes.
Have a great day!
