Make it Crafty - Anastasia

Happy Sunday!

This is my first post for Make It Crafty! I decided to use one of my new favorites, Anastasia! She is so gorgeous. It has given me a chance to experiment with skin and hair texture.

Paper: K&Co Botanicals
Ink: Copics, Alcohol Ink
Accessories: Chippies - Butterfly Leaves, Round Leaves, lace, Hodge Podge Hardware, flowers, Stickles, Liquid Pearls, Copics Aibrush System.

I colored Anastasia with Copics. I then masked her and colored the background with my Copics Airbrush System. I like the soft effect the airbrush gives.

I added Hodge Podge Hardware from Stampin' Up! for my sentiment.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid. I love that they resemble the flowers in her hair. The leaves are Chippies from the Butterfly Leaves collection. I painted them with a white dauber, then added a couple green shades of alcohol ink to give the leaves some dimension.

I added a Chippie Butterfly to the flowers in her hair. I used a white paint dauber, then used alcohol ink (blue and purple) to add color and topped it off with Stickles.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Wednesday!

It's time for another 7 Kids College Fund Challenge. Our challenge to you this week is "Make It Cute."

Copics

I used a Chippie in the corner of my image. I have had a bit of a hard time finding these in the US. However, they are available through Make It Crafty out of Australia.

I love findng different items to use in my bouquets. In this bouquet, I used a feather and a couple stick pins. I again used my Copics Airbrush System to add color to white roses.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you will join our challenge at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge.

7 Kids College Fund Challenge - The Color Purple

Today at 7 Kids College Fund Challenge, our challenge is The Color Purple.

Stamp: Lying Tilda
Paper: K&Co, DCWV Metallic Cardstock
Ink: MementoCopics
Cricut  Ornamental Iron

I cut off the bottom half of Tilda. I like that it looks like she is crawling out of the frame rather than lying down.

I used several metallic objects on the card including foil on the background paper, metallic cardstock cut out with the Cricut Ornamental Iron cartridge, and this metal frame.

Thanks for stopping by today!

So Excited!!!

I am so excited (and still a bit shocked) to announce that I have been chosen for the Make It Crafty Store Design Team. I have been in love with the backgrounds and characters for so long. I have also participated in several of the Make It Colourful challenges. The designers are SO FABULOUS and I am honored to be a part of such a talented group.
