Happy Tuesday!
Today, I have a new image from Make It Crafty to spotlight. It is from the adorable "Melissa" collection.

This little cutie is called Melissa's Balloon. I made this card for my friend's daughter, a beautiful little blond who is little miss personality.

I colored Melissa with Copics. I love the snarky look on Melissa's face.

I added Glossy Accents to the balloon to give it dimension.

I create a bouquet of flowers around the ribbon, and added an extra pink ribbon to correspond with the ribbons on the dress.

We got the saying from my friend, "Really, are you kidding me?" She says it frequently. When we use the phrase, we smile and think of her.

I used the following products on my card:

Die Cuts With a View Paper Stack
Spellbinders Scalloped Oval
Spellbinders Fancy Tags 3
Prima Flowers
Pearls
Ribbon
Glossy Accents
Photo Corners punch

Tilda Catching Stars

Happy Monday!

Today, I have a new Magnolia card for you.

I colored Tilda with Distress Ink. I wanted to blend her outfit to resemble the castle in the paper, with a blend of purple and orange.

I love this sentiment. It feels like Tilda is reaching for the stars and dreaming of more.

My spray of flowers includes a piece of fern and copper sprays from the floral section. I also created the swirled element.

Check back Wednesday. I am making my first attempt at a video tutorial. I will be showing how I distress the edges of my paper.

 Thanks for stopping by today!

Be sure to leave your comment on the store blog post to be entered into the drawing for the prizes. The hop will go through Sunday and winners announced on Monday.

The new release is call "Under the Sea." It is a wonderful collection of underwater images, seahorses, dolphins, mermaids, and other elements to decorate your scene.

When I saw the collection, I thought it would be perfect for a spinner card. This gives the effect of the dolphin jumping through the waves.

The three pictures above show how the dolphin rolls along the waves.

The picture above gives you an idea of how the process works. I used 2 pennies (cheapest embellishments around - hehe). I covered the pennies with paper to help them blend in with the scene. The weight of the pennies help the image roll along.

To create the underwater effect, I used two things...my Copics Airbrush System and a variety of blue Copics to create the wavy effect. The sand is gold colorful glitter. The picture does not do it justice. I added some little shells as embellishments.

We are not just celebrating this new release, but also Make It Crafy's new illustrator, Marina. Her work is gorgeous! I love Marina's Under the Sea collection, especially the beautiful mermaids and adorable seahorses.
