Winter Fairy Talva

God Jul!
I mentioned I may post another card this season, and here it is. I finally have a bit of mojo (which has escaped me for quite a while now).
Here is another Christmas card I made for family this year...

This card uses the Mo's Digital Pencil image "Winter Fairy Talva."

I colored her with Copics.

I hope you have a wonderful week!

Winter Fairy Halla

Happy Holidays!
It has been a year since I have posted. Wow, where has the time gone. Our lives have gone through major transformations in 2014. The biggest changes are we moved and my return to school (hence the lack of card making). I am nearing the winter break for school, and have had a chance to make a few cards, so I figured I might as well post some for anyone still viewing my blog.
My first card is pretty simple, but I love the look. I used Winter Fairy Halla from Mo's Digital Pencil. The paper is Heartfelt Creations.

I added Frontage Embossing Powder for the snow effect.

I am entering this card in the DP2 Challenge - Snow (with a Mo image)
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my latest creation!

Fall Inspired - Prince Edward Island

Happy Wednesday!
It's time for another 7 Kids College Fund Challenge. Our challenge this week is Fall Inspired.
When I think of fall, I think of windy weather, so I used Prince Edward Island from Stampin' Bella's Mo Manning collection.

Happy Wednesday!
Our challenge this week at 7 Kids College Fund, our challenge is to use the Orange Creamsicle as inspiration.

...and here is my card...

Paper: Citrus (DCWV)
Accessories: Flowers

This offered a great challenge for me as I never seem to use orange. However, I love the card. I love her orange pants. I love how bright and cheery the card is. I carried the orange into her hair. Doesn't it look like it is on fire? I used a combination of Copics and Distress Markers to highlight and define her hair.

I added some polka dot flowers to carry on the polka dots in her shorts.

I got this sweet Chippie from Make it Crafty. I used a white paint dauber, peacock embossing powder, and then added a layer of sparkly embossing powder to give the dragonfly some pizazz.

Thanks for stopping by today, and check out the great selection of Mo Manning Stamps at 7 Kids College Fund,

7 Kids College Fund - School's Out!

Happy Wednesday!
Today at 7 Kids College Fund, we are celebrating the end of school with our "School's Out!" challenge. For me, school's out means the start of summer, so here is my summer card.

Background elements from Make It Crafty
Pearls

I need to practice with the dress a bit more. I like it, but I don't LOVE it.  I tried a new technique for the grass and trees. I really like the result. If you are interested, you can find the tutorial here.

I did not want the sentiment to pop out, but to be more subtle, so I added it to the grass. I added some white gel pen to the sentiment and added pearls to help the sentiment stand out just a bit.
Thanks so much for stopping by today!

7 Kids College Fund Challenge - April Showers Bring May Flowers

Is it Wednesday already?

It's time for another 7 Kids College Fund Challenge.
Our challenge this week is April Showers Bring May Flowers. Your choice, showers or flowers.

Here is my card...

You can find the following items at 7 Kids College Fund...

Stamps: End of Summer (Mo Manning)

I colored her with distress ink. I figured since she is playing in the field, she might be a little dirty, so I colored her to reflect this.

The bees are photo corners from Jolees. I just removed the corner and used it as a sticker.

I used Prima Flowers and used rhinestones for the centers.

For this card, I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday...
