It's Wednesday and time for another 7 Kids College Fund Challenge.
Our challenge this week is Circle Shapes - Make either a circle shaped card or include circles on your card.
For my card, I jumped way out of my circle of comfort, and made this Asian card...
You can find the following items at 7 Kids College Fund...
Stamp: Japanese Tilda
Ink: Staz-On, Distress Ink
Accessories: Liquid Pearls
My daughter loves the Japanese culture. When she saw the card, she immediately said, "Oh, I want it!" So, I gave it to her to put in her room.
I altered Tilda's eyes just a bit to bring a more authentic feel to my Japanese themed card.
The ying-yang symbol, pagoda and bridge are from the Cricut Pagoda Cartridge.
For balance I wanted to carry some of the red to the top of the card, so I added these teardrop gems.
While you are over at 7 Kids College Fund, check out the sale on Prima's.
I just love the candy gems and all the new flowers Prima released at this past CHA. Perhaps some of you haven't had a chance to check out the new stuff and what better way to bring it to your attention than to put it on sale! ALL PRIMA is now 15% off through May 15.. Don't miss this chance to save on the already below retail prices!

I LOVE IT. Does the card fold down so you can mail it?
ooo this is so beautiful
great job
OMG!!!!! Julie your card is out of this world. I love your yin/yang symbol. What a very clever design and the card is absolutely gorgeous. I don't think I have ever seen anything like it. Ah so - you are very wise to have altered Tilda's eyes -- your creation demanded it. The paper on the bottom with what looks like gold swirls on it is out of this world perfect. Now I am beginning to slobber. I have told you before, you use some of the pretties papers I have ever seen. Your coloring is fantastic. One amazing card Julie!!!!!
