Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long Blog Hop

Welcome to the fifth installment of our monthly Magnolia-licious Christmas All Year Long Blog Hop. This group was created for Magnolia lovers who want to get a jump on the Christmas season by creating a Christmas card each month. If you are visiting this blog hop, I hope it will inspire you to get ahead of the holiday season and join us in our endeavor.

The blog hop will start at Christmas All Year Long Magnolia-licious Yahoo Group. If you get lost, the list of all players will appear on that blog. From here, you will go to Annabelle's Blog.

My inspiration for my card came from the lovely sketch at Friday Sketchers (#103). Here is the sketch...

...and here is my card...

Okay, I added a few flowers.

Stamps: Tilda With Vintage Roses (Magnolia)
Paper: All paper is from Stampin' Up! and is retired.
Ink: Staz-On, Distress Ink, Copics
Accessories: Scallop Trim Border Punch (SU!), MS Rose Leaf Punch, MS Branch Punch, Flowers from Wild Orchid, Copics Airbrush System, flat-back pearls.
I watercolored my image to match my explosion box.

Again, I changed the color of my flowers using my Copics Airbrush System.

Here is the set I will give as a gift at Christmas. It is so nice to have something done for Christmas and it is only May.

So, next in the blog hop, you will visit Annabelle's Blog.

Magnolia-licious is a great resource for Magnolia stamps! They have a great selection and great service.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Have a great day!

Julie, wow, gorgeous card. Love your take on the sketch—amending the square into a diamond. Those shades of Christmas colours are wonderful. Beautifully coloured and those flowers are just die for. Love the box you made to complete the set.

Hugs.
