Magnolia-licious Highlites Sketch Challenge

This card was made for the Magnolia-licious Sketch Challenge for June. I took a little poetic license and turned the sketch. Here is the sketch...

and here is my card...

Stamps: Tilda with Christmas Stockings, Log (both Magnolia).
Ink: Memento, Copics
Paper: Night of Navy, Brushed Silver (Both Stampin' Up!)
Embellishments: Star punch, chipboard, Rope Twine

I was trying to find a sentiment to the effect of hanging from the moon or swinging from the moon. I finally came up with my own little sentiment, "With but one thought of you, I am hanging from the moon."

I don't have the swing stamp, so I stamped the log stamp on a piece of chipboard and cut it out to make a swing. I attached the rope twine to the swing and attached it to the moon.

These are the colors I used to color Tilda.
I hope you like my different approach to the sketch. Have a great Wednesday!

Julie this is such a clever and fun take on the June Sketch. I love how you used the 1/2 circle for the moon, added stars, and made the darling swing. Your coloring is fabulous, the entire card is really delightful...

She's very sweet! She's one of my favorites from last Christmas and I love how you adapted her. She looks timeless and she's colored so beautifully!
