This week is all about Duncan Hines. March 26, 1880 was the birth of Duncan Hines. Yes, THEE Duncan Hines, of the cake/baking empire. In honor of his birthday, let's create a layout, card, mini album, packaging or alterable with a cake, cupcake, frosting, sprinkles or anything cake-related on it. If you create packaging, for example, you could create a package decorating a cake baking gift set. Anything goes, just have fun.
I decided to incorporate the Split Coast Stampers Sketch Challenge #273 into this challenge and used this sketch...

Paper: Blue Skies (American Crafts ), Chocolate Chip, Pink Passion, Bermuda Bay (SU!)
Ink: Memento, Copics
Accessories: Spellbinders Die, Felt cut with die and airbrushed with Copics, Rhinestone brad

I also wanted to incorporate Copic Creations Challenge #24. They are celebrating their one-year blogoversary. For this challenge, they wanted participants to use one of the techniques taught over the last year. I chose two - Feather Blending and coloring embellishments. You can see the feathering in Anna Mae's dress and in some of the letters. There is a great tutorial for this technique here.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a great weekend.
