Sugar Creek Hollow - Ask the Lord of the Harvest

Happy Saturday! This week at Sugar Creek Hollow, we were challenged to use the digi stamp called Lord of the Harvest Vintage Tag. For my card, I used the sketch from Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. Here is the sketch...

...and here is my card...

Paper: The cardstock is True Thyme from SU! (retired). I am sorry I can't tell you what the DP is. It is from my stash and has been there for years.
Ink: Ink jet printer, Copics, distress ink (used along the edges to age the paper).
Accessories: Ribbon, Hodge Podge Hardware, buttons, leaf and branch punches.

I colored my sentiment and pumpkins with Copics, using the feathering technique to blend the colors.

Rather than go with my usual spray of flowers, I opted for leaves for a more autumn feel. I topped off my piles of leaves with buttons to give an acorn feel.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Go visit Sugar Creek Hollow to see all the wonderful fall images that are currently available!

I think this is gorgeous Julie. And unique because of the colors you've used here so effectively. I've never heard of the feather technique with Copics so I'm rushing off now to try it myself because it looks fantastic on the Harvest tag!
