Sugar Creek Hollow Color Challenge

Hi there! I hope you are having a great weekend.

Our challenge over at Sugar Creek Hollow this week is to use the colors Early Espresso (dark brown), River Rock (sand/tan) and Baja Breeze (bluish-green).

Here is my card...

I combined two stamps for this card, Butterfly Angel and Glory to God. I changed the color to a nice dark blue/green.

I distressed the paper with Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap distress ink. I then used clear crackle paint over the top of the entire image. I went back with some walnut distress ink and it resulted in this really cool image that is really thick and feels like leather. You just gotta love distressing mediums.I added some Crinkle Ribbon, folded several times and tied with linen thread and a button.

I would like to give credit where due. The layout is from the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. Here is the sketch for this week...

Thanks so much for stopping today today!

This is such a warm card. If you had to find a Christmas card just for a guy, this would work perfectly.
